Dear German cars: pls stahp, srsly. I don’t have any more space to put you sorry broken bastards, we’re only one small shop, I can’t fix every damn one of you at once.
Also, when’s the last time you saw a brodie knob? Certainly don’t expect to see one an a newer X5. Good for airbag.
Also also, a small PSA: if you bring your car in for service, take the goddamn boat off the roof (different newer X5, this one’s a diesel). (Out of frame: a third newer gray X5D with a broken timing chain. Don’t buy one.)

That seems counter intuitive, if I worked on a german car shop I would wan’t more german cars to go kaputt

In general, that’s not a problem. But I only have two and a half guys and we’re suffocating in cars and have been for some time. Not a bad problem to have, but it’s a logistical nightmare. Cars keep getting towed in and left out of the blue when I’m already booked days out.

Very much so! They let it slide on old lead sled cruisers, but they’d write you up for this.
